Here is my blond bombshell - Alistair! He loves these shorts. They are Kwik Sew 3042 shorts with the awesome pockets from Simplicity 3856.
I love these pockets. Large enough to put a toy car into, but not overwhelming. Love the stitch details, adding interest.
The fabric has robot sharks on it! What boy wouldn't be in love them...in fact here they are in action with his sister and friend.
The fabric is well aged. It was in my mum's stash when she made my brother's clothing (they are now in the thirties). But somehow robot sharks are timeless!
They are Kwik Sew 3042 shorts with the awesome pockets from Simplicity 3856. We made PJs from this pattern that are in another post -- the shorts are comfy. But they needed the detail of the pocket to really finish them off for day wear.
